Hey Beautiful Person!
It's surely been a minute, to understate it a bit ;-)
Social media - really media in general - got a bit overwhelming as I navigated stress from a diagnosis I have since been learning to shed a bit more. No, no.. I still have a diagnosis and pains from it every now and then; AND my spirit is truly lifted. God has shown me way more than I can even put into words right now and I will surely be telling my story more often now.
Meeting new people/creating connections, More #hotgirlnaturewalks, dabbling in real estate, working with the most beautiful clients, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends has surely been a highlight...
But before I get way deep into my (more cohesive) story and what I've fully been up to recently, I would love some community support... Battling an illness and/or a difficult transition is about more than eating right, creating the best routine, even regulating your nervous system. Understanding the best direction for you starts with understanding YOU. I want everyone to realize this for themselves; I especially desire this for young adults diagnosed not too long ago and/or battling the throes of deep transition. We all "go through" at times, but I have a unique heart, I am realizing, for our future, the younger adults who will shape this world for the better, yet first needing to nurture their own authentic selves.
Self-discovery, love and joy are all about knowing when to pivot and implement the changes that your life and soul are calling for… Now that I’ve done a pivot, I want you - our future -, young and emerging adults, to gain insight about yourself in the midst of difficult transitions and/or illness, and to envision your future with hope and a peaceful heart. There is so much more to YOU - not simply your community/parents/relationships/career, you - and it’s definitely time to unpack and co-create on that which is within you now and moving forward.
I am excited for all the ways my practice as a therapist is growing and thriving, AND I want to do something for more young people that continue to cross my path. So with that, I ask for your assistance:
If you are a young adult who realizes there is more, but are not sure what that even means yet - with chronic illness at your door and future looming (instead of giving hope) -, then I would like to chat with you. I am developing resource(s) on this healing journey of self discovery and light in life and I could use your words to truly know what is needed. I am looking for a few adults from ages 18-35 (for now) to sit on zoom with me for a "coffee chat"
We will talk about your own hopes and dreams and see how I might be able to help you with a resource for your own life. I hope you will take this opportunity to gain more insight and aid me in making something using my story and expertise that will stand with and for you and your generation.
Please reply to this email and/or click the calendar link HERE to set up a 45min “coffee chat” with me.
Love, Joy, and Deuces!
- Kris G.
